Optimum parameters discretely tuning resonator on a segment of homogeneous long line from point of view of his unloaded Q factor

Two methods of calculating unloaded Q factor discretely tunable resonators on the segments of homogeneous long lines are considered. The necessary analytical expressions and recommendations for their use are presented, as well as the results of calculations and experiments. For design a discrete tunable resonator with optimum parameters two methods of calculation unloaded Q factor discretely tunable resonators on the segments of homogeneous long lines are considered. Results of calculations and experiments have shown a good conformity.
