Mobile communication systems of civil and military use can be characterized by complex variable structure of signal and noise mixture under the influence of such factors as large numbers of simultaneously working transmitters with asynchronous access to the common radio channel, multipath propagation and signals fading, proximity of the surface et c. These factors cause high level of multiple access interference with signal-like structure, random character of fluctuation of received signals’ parameters (in general non-Gaussian character), multiple copies of reflected signal, degradation of electromagnetic compatibility for radio electronic devices. So the growing increase of mobile subscribers, high Quality of Service (QoS) requirements, variable noisy radio environment as well as strict bandwidth and energetic limitations constrain real performance of mobile communication systems and urge to develop new, robust signal processing methods as a part of existing technologies of channel resources sharing and standard radio interfaces. Nowadays there are active research works concerned on development of signal processing problem in non-Gaussian radio channels. Given this factor, the existing algorithms lead to complex nonlinear processing procedures, while the nonlinear character depends on type of non-Gaussian distribution. As a result, the article focuses on development of the new algorithm of demodulation-decoding for wideband CDMA signals. The proposed algorithm provides more accurate control of QoS parameters’. It is achieved by calculation of decision statistics that take into account probability distribution of signals’ level and applied for the procedures of physical and data link layer when it is necessary to choose the scheme of channel coding and more adequate control of QoS parameters.
