Effect of the dynamical Coulomb blockade on the tunneling spectra of the Si(111)–7x7 surface

The temperature dependence of the tunneling spectra of the Si(111)–7x7 surface was studied in the temperature region of 5–80 K. The phenomenological model was proposed to describe such behavior, which includes both effects the dynamical Coulomb blockade and the presence of the soft Coulomb gap at Fermi level in surface states.
