At the moment, sucker rod pumps are commonly used for artificial lift dynamometer systems. The dynamometer systems should be allocated among the most effective methods of diagnosis of sucker rod pumps because these methods allow to estimate all basic parameters of the down hole pumping equipment. One of the main components of such systems is force sensor. This sensor should have long service life and wireless data transmission. To ensure such parameters, an energy-saving technology and a built-in electric power generator are used. Energy-saving technologies are implemented through the use of microcontrollers with the “sleep mode”, and the electric power generator is based upon piezoelectric generator. The influence of the shock on the amount of generated energy has been considered, and a scheme for measuring the current of piezoelectric generator has been proposed. It is shown that the proposed implementation of an autonomous sensor can solve most problems of modern dynamometer systems’ sensors.
