The concept of using atomic energy installations for development, extraction and transport of resources of the World Ocean

The nuclear power engineering of ocean engineering is considered with reference to the development of the World Ocean, which defines the perspective concept of Russian civil nuclear fleet in the world economy.
The target use of nuclear power plants (AES) for the development, production and transportation of hydrocarbon and mineral raw materials of the World Ocean in the following areas is proposed: nuclear submarine power plant (APEP) for power supply of hydrocarbon production; drilling platform with a nuclear power plant; atomic deep-water station for the maintenance of underwater deposits, communications and the APEC crew change; icebreaker with AEU for wiring of tankers; tugboat-tanker (hybrid shipbuilding) with AEU; autonomous modular robotic stationary and self-propelled ocean technical systems with AES for hydrocarbon exploration and maintenance of underwater communications; multipurpose marine nuclear power complexes.
It is shown that three generations of reliable operation of civil vessels with nuclear power plants, as well as marine nuclear power plants under construction, provide Russia with a leading position in the development of the World Ocean.
