Modeling and parameters evaluation of pass system with personality authentication

Currently, the need for an unmistakable identification in places of high traffic capacity of people at checkpoints is obvious. This problem is important in respect of safety in transport and in places where sports and cultural events are held. Already known and long-used methods of control aren’t sufficient. The breakthrough in the issue of the security system is the widespread use of biometric technologies. With the use of this technology, the personal control of a large amount of people at a single point of admission won’t be a problem. The system minimizes errors, caused by the human factor. The system allows to replace the electronic tickets, used for access to the object, to the images of the human papillary pattern. The stadium is organizing a screening of sporting events. The system implements registration and authorization of users for registration of visitors for admission to the facility (stadium). The system performs registration of the visitor and his fingerprint for access to the stadium. It is also possible to authenticate the visitor and sell tickets to the selected stadium, match. Registration of the visitor's passage through the turnstile is carried out, to control the time spent at the stadium. When committing illegal actions a visitor can be added to the black list. This automated system helps to simplify and systematize the registration of visitors, selling of tickets and the implementation of the access to the object. When developing an automated system, it is necessary to determine the equipment required for the operation of this system. The solution of this problem can be obtained by modeling the impacts on the equipment. To solve the task, the SIMIO simulation environment was chosen. There is modeled one day of work of one sector of object (stadium) in the research. The average capacity of one sector of the stadium is set. The time of the match start is determined. The stadium starts to let in visitors 2 hours before the match begins and ends 30 minutes after the start. Based on this data, the final model of the fingerprint authentication system is constructed. To determine the optimal number of biometric turnstiles in one sector, it is necessary to analyze the behavior of the system. To analyze the system, we take the following indicators: number of people in the queue to the turnstiles relative to the time of day; average waiting time in queue relative to time of day; average service time, i.е. total time - waiting time in the queue and visitor authentication. Modeling is a powerful tool. Thus, with the help of modeling, the optimal number of biometric turnstiles is determined for passage to the sector of the stadium. The more accurately the model parameters are specified, reflecting the reality, the more accurate the result is.
