Factor analysis of distributed information educational systems on ensuring reliability of students’ knowledge evaluating.

Nowadays DIES play a significant role as a learning technology, because they exceed the capacity of traditional ones in many respects. However, there is a number of shortcomings reducing the efficient use of this learning technology. The reliability of students’ knowledge evaluating in different kinds of control is considered to be one of them.
The article examines the reliability of evaluation as an attribute of information to adequately reflect the reality which is expressed through: 1. the authenticity (the correspondence with an objective reality); 2. the completeness (the ability to reflect all the exploring properties); 3. the internal consistency (the lack of contradictions between the information resource’s elements) and 4. the relevance (the ability to reflect the current state of the object). The level of preparedness for a particular discipline is seen as a convolution of both preparation levels: theoretical (the conceptual system of a discipline prescribed by the federal state educational standard) and practical (skills and abilities prescribed by the federal state educational standard). The analysis of educational systems has demonstrated that nowadays the adaptive type of educational systems is mostly widespread in domestic institutions of higher education.
Twenty development branches concerning adaptive e learning have been revealed: a development training technology, the method of conceptual knowledge control based on cognitive maps, various knowledge models integration technique, the probabilistic model of knowledge check, computer-aided adaptive testing procedures, neuron networks, the model of learning process and testing automation in the form of layers-and-parallels knowledge graphs, the adaptive learning management model based on the Moore automaton theory, the modified mechanism of the stereotypical overlay network for knowledge control presentations, programmed learning, a probabilistic statistical approach, web technologies, mobile applications, Petri nets, the method of automated measuring and control material development based on numerical evaluation of educational elements mutual significance, simulation testing based on the posteriori probability assessment algorithm in the Bayesian network. The result of domestic DIES quality assessment from the point of view of reliability of students’ knowledge evaluating has been presented; their application field has been defined. The analysis confirms the relevance of further development of methods, algorithms and corresponding programmes providing more reliable students’ knowledge evaluating.
