Improvement of technological process of manufacturing products of complex configuration

The quality of the product is one of the defining indicators of its competitiveness. High strength, stiffness and wear resistance ensure efficiency and reliability of the items.
A typical detail of one of the Kaluga enterprises is a block of asterisks that represents the welded construction, consisting of three gear wheels and hub. In the basic technological process of production of the unit hole in the sleeve was subjected to the boring and grinding.
In this paper, the authors proposed to replace these operations, the operation of pulling with the use of combined broach. The use of this tool will increase productivity, machining accuracy and reduce the cost of manufacturing the product.
The tool design has a pressing part. The application of the pressing part causes a hardening of the product surface. The method allows smoothing to reduce roughness, increase hardness of the contact surface of the hub. Resulting in increased endurance, and other important metrics.
Pressing part is a set of rings. As the material of the rings is proposed to use solid alloy ТЗОК4 having high resistance.
The authors have proposed the use of horizontal broaching machine instead of lathe and grinding equipment, thereby reducing the cost of manufacturing the product.
