Adaptation of text representation of web content on mobile devices

For web developers, the question of portability of their apps and websites to mobile devices is often raised. The main problem is the large number of existing display tools and display resolution standards. This article is devoted to the analysis and determination of the number of forms required to display text information of the website on smartphones, depending on the display resolution. The relevance of the topic is confirmed by existing similar solutions in browsers for desktop computers.
A method for determining the number of forms is proposed, the results of the study are presented depending on the variable para-meters, such as virtual display resolution, text information parameters (type, size, font density).
The problem of adequate adaptive presentation of text information of web content on mobile devices is very relevant and does not have a trivial solution due to the large number of display resolution standards.
The method proposed in this article allows you to calculate how many forms are required to display text information of the website on smartphones, and use it, for example, to form a mode of «reading». Moreover, based on the research and experiments, it was found that the screen fill factor is equal to the parameters such as font type, font size, spacing (density) of the font and screen resolution.
