The present article deals with methodological approach to an information model generation of informational analytical support of scientific researches. The necessity of this information model generation has been shown for the purpose of data structuring, correlation, interaction technologies and technologies of transformation of information in the process of configuration development of infocommunication medium of informational analytical support of scientific researches.
The main distinctive features of informational and informational analytical support of scientific researches has been singled out in this paper. The present article proves the necessity of consideration as information model objects not only the sources of scientific information, but also intermediate results of researching stage in the aggregate with the means of criterion validity, consistency and applicability of external information for the university.
On basis of the results of content analysis of informational analytical support of scientific researches an eight-staged approach was developed. This approach allows to form a science-based information model of processes of analytical support of scientific researches and to develop a prospective structure of infocommunication medium of the technical university.
